My great grandmother Lavina BOWERMAN moved to Syracuse in the early 1900s some time after the death of her husband James in Bloomfield, Ontario, Canada. She died in 1930 & was living on S. Clinton Street. She had 7 children, 3 at least who went to Syracuse with her. Her 2 youngest daughters Zetta & Hazel as well as 1 son Oren who later lived in the Cortland area. Zetta married twice, 1st) Walter SCOTT & had 3 children Neva b. 1913, m. Robert EVERETT, Ina Marion b. 1914, m. Micheal WOZNICK & Verne Rowland b. 1916 m. Mabel SNYDER 2nd) Charlie SMITH. Zetta died in 1965. They lived in Syracuse at locales such as Washington Sq., Katherine St. & James St. Hazel married William COLLINS & had 9 children only 2 who survived infancy Edrie b. 1915 & Jane b. 1926. Hazel died in 1949. Would like to learn more details of this family & their descendents. Also attempting to locate the whereabouts of Lavina's son Roy Benjamin BOWERMAN b. 1883 who left Ontario as a young man & little is known of him after.
