I have extensive information on the Fenners, but nothing else on Augustus Leavens accept he was from CT. I have two other Leavens families that are descendants both from CT, but I have not connected the three together. It's very possible they have a common ancestor. It appears to me that the or an "immigrant" Leavens was John (1599-1610 - 11/15/1647) who was born in England m Rachel Wright 7/5/1639 and died In Roxbury MASS. Their son John (1640-1696) migrated to Woodstock CT with Hannah Wood whom he had m on 6/17/1665. Hannah died one week after giving birth (10/17/1666) to their first child, a daughter, named for her mother. That Hannah m Jonathan Peake in 1687 and four generations later married into the Fenner Family.

I also have a Joseph Leavens (persumably b in the late 1600s) from Killingly CT who married Judith Sabin. Their daughter Sybil Leavens married Nathaniel Daniels (1719-1799). That Daniels line extends down to my granmother who married a Fenner.
