Could this possibly be your Bradford Norton?
This may be a stretch but I think I may have information about your Bradford, but I know him as Shuball/Thuball who married Anna and died in 1822 according to Freeman Nortons second wife and Widow (Betsey) Pension Application dated 19 April 1853, Onondaga, Co., New York.
I am also a lineal descendant of Freeman Norton and Martha Chipman through their daughter Mary Bradford Norton who married Lyman Cook in Marcellus NY. In a book entitled "The Memoirs of James Monroe Cook" written by Theodore Dwight Cook, both sons of Mary Bradford Norton and Lyman Cook it states "before Mary was 20 years of age she came to Marcellus with her older brother and there also began teaching" Mary, Shuball and Anna would have come to Marcellus between 1801-1805, while Freeman and his new wife Betsey went to Maine. (this information taken from Onondaga Co., Historical Guild letter from a Mrs Fuller who states that Pauline, Freeman and Martha's daughter married William Hill in Maine 1805. Freeman is not on the 1800 census but is on the 1810 census for Marcellus, Onondaga Co., NY.
Also, Anna wife of Shuball/Thuball is living in Auburn NY in 19 April 1853 when the application by Betsey (Freeman's second wife and his widow) is made to receive benefits.
I am very interested in any information that you have about Freeman and family and I will share what information that I have with you.
