Thank you, I appreciate your help immensely. Here are the names of the other children. The only child, our direct ancestor,that I've been able to trace is Patrick. His mother Catharine apparently died sometime between 1880-1900.

Patrick b. 1861 (married abt. 1860)
Anna b. 1867
Daniel b. 1868
Alice b. 1871
Michael b. 1873
Pierce b. 1875
William b. 1877

Thank you also for the info. about Syracuse. Ironically, my husband's father (William Lee) was an alumni of Syracuse U. but I'm still trying to find out from the family if he had any cousins living there when he attended school in the mid 1950's.
