Looking for information, vitals (including death dates/places, cemeteries) regarding Eliphalet & Lovisa (Conet) Smith family, who were at Onondaga County approx. by the mid-1800s. They likely arrived there in the 1830s from Otsego County.
A probable son was Joshua Smith (b. abt 1808), who married Catherine Shaul.
Other children may have been William D. Smith (b. abt 1804), who married Margaret; David Smith (b. abt 1816), who married Rach[a]el; James E. Smith (b. 1811), who married Cynthia Melvina Potter.
The latter James & Cynthia were my gg-grandparents. They are found in the 1840 Census at Tully, living next to Joshua Smith. James & Cynthia had moved to Constantia, Oswego County by 1850. But Joshua & Catherine are found in Onondaga County in subsequent Census enumerations of 1850, 1860, 1870.
Lovisa (Conet) Smith is living as a widow in 1850 in the family of David Smith and in 1860 in the family of William D. Smith, both at Skaneatales.
