Hello all ~
I am looking for information on a Higgins family. Specifically, there is a Thomas Higgins with wife Mary Higgins. They had 8 children:
John Higgins (b. 1836 in Syracuse, NY) - My Great-Great-Grandfather.
Thomas Higgins (b. 1841)
Michael Higgins (b. 1844)
James Higgins (b. 1848)
Mary Higgins (b. 1851)
Helen Higgins (b. 1855)
Eugene Higgins(b. 1857)
Margaret Higgins (b. 1861)
They are all found in 1850 living in Syracuse city, ward 2, Onondaga, New York. I know what happened to most of the family members, but I am not sure what happened to the parents Thomas and Mary. When did they die? What part of Ireland are they from? When did they come to the US? Those are my questions.
