Mary Marks buried in Jewish Cemetery?

I don't know how many Jewish cemeteries there were in Syracuse back in 1936, but I am searching for the grave of a Mary (Cohen) Marks, born 9/22/1894 in Leeds, England, and who died in Brooklyn, NY in June or July 1936. Her body was supposedly transported to a Jewish Cemetery in Syracuse, NY. There may never have been a funeral. I am not related, but researching for a friend. Mary Cohen Marks was the daughter of Joseph and Bessie Cohen. I think her husband's name was Marcy and that at one time they lived on Riverside Blvd. in Long Beach, NY. Please contact me if you have any information about this family.
MikeJessieCheek at THANKS...her daughter was only 6 years old when she died and is curious about her past. She does have a document that lists Bessie and her many children coming over to American to meet Joseph when Mary was a little girl.
