I found an article in the Syracuse Journal dating back from 1901 written by Moses Goldberg who had a cigar store at Clinton and Jefferson street who posted a letter in the Journal from his friend and relative of mine Nathan Markovits who was in Company D, fifth United States Infantry in the Philippines Island.
Nathan was born on 14-Jul-1870 and died on 10-Apr-1925 and buried in Mckeesport, PA.
I am trying to locate any descendant or relatives of Moses Goldberg. In the city directory of 1900 Moses lived on 201 West Jefferson in Syracuse NY. His occupation is listed as cigar manufacture. In 1910 he is listed in the city directory residing at Armory Hotel.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
