Thanks for your suggestion, Joan. I contacted Peg Nolan of the Marcellus Historical Society and she sent me the following information:
"..in the June 6, 1940 Marcellus Observer. It is as follows: Miss Anna Hainey and ames Farrell were united in marriage by Rev. Father Daniel Hartnett of St.Francis Church Saturday morning at 7 o'clock After a brief honeymoon trip to New York City and Connecticut, the happy couple will occupy the new Engler residence on Main Street."
