yes, sorry, - i didnt read your post carefully enough.also, didnt get notification that u had replied - maybe this will help-even if only by elimination. the cooks, caroline cook chase and her bros shown in 1920 census, seward and allen, are the grandchildren of seward and ophelia cook, and the children of delos and jessie cook. this was allen edison cook, not houston.all born new york, farmers.
