Thank you, Pat! I did have the name of Pardon Hart along with 2 other men in that town, Eber Hart and Stephen Hart. This does help me lean toward Pardon. I do know Pardon and Eber are brothers from an old town transcript. Wish I could find Bailey actually living with one of these men, but thank you for giving me the alternate spelling HEART, which explains why I haven't been able to locate Bailey on early censuses.
