I have a George D PHILLIPS probale son of Daniel and Mary PHILLIPS. Daniel was b. in MA abt 1785 and was one of the first settlers in Schroepple. Oswego, NY. George m. Carrie (Caroline) A. LAMB who was probably the d/o Charles LAMB of Marcellus, Onondaga, NY. Charles' wife name was Mary. Could this be your PHILLIPS family? My George D. PHILLIPS was born either in Ma. or NY. I have seen him listed both ways in the 1880 and 1900 census'. Daniel PHILLIPS arrived in Schroeppel in the spring of 1835. and he would have been about 50 yrs old at the time of this move. He had a son George, a son Clark and a daughter named after her mother Mary. I don't know of an Abner but I am still finding bits and pieces of info. Does this seem to be a possible family connection to you? I have more info if you think we connect. Email me at <> Thanks Gail Veve
