Death of a Veteran of Civil War
John W. Patrick died yesterday morning at his
home, number 319 Burt St. after a brief illness. He was born in Steuben County in 1832 and was a veteran of the Civil War. Mr. Patrick enlisted in the 12th NY Cavalry and served for three years.
He is survived by a widow and four children, Walter A., John W. and Elizabeth Patrick of this city and Mrs. Charles F. Mott of Albany.
The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 p.m. at his late residence and members of Root Post, G.A.R. are requested to attend.
(Age: 68 years Burial: Oakwood cemetery)
