I think I may be able to help you out. Last Sunday while researching at Olin Library at Cornell University, I came across a James Henderson Otisco, Onondaga County - He was listed as a tailor. I took notice because I also have Hendersons in my genealogy from Onondaga County. I believe that I found the information in the Ithaca Journal or Ithaca Daily Journal 1886. My Hiram Henderson sold needles so the fact that James was a tailor and from Onondaga County caught my eye. My Hiram married a Lydia Ray. Last night I found a James Ray in Otisco. This all seems to me to be to much of a coincidence not to look more into. Do you have any more information on your James Henderson i.e. brothers etc.??? Please contact....thanks
