Phelps and Kittle in Manlius, early 1800s?

Seeking information on a Kittle family, if there was one, in Manlius in the early 1800s. My ancestor, Mr. Kittle, married Harriet, possibly the dau. of Griswold Phelps who is listed in the 1830 Federal census of Manlius. The marriage would have been between 1830 and 1834. Mr. Kittle apparently died about 1845, but the location of the family at that time is unknown. In 1847 Harriet married secondly Clinton Butler, Steuben Co., IN, where Griswold Phelps, too, had settled. The Clinton Butler family was recorded in the 1850 census, Richland Twp., Steuben Co., IN, Dwell. and Fam. 776. Harriet's three "Kittel" children are listed in the household: Emily, 15; William H. [12]; and John C.,5. Also listed is Milly Butler, 12 days old.

Without Mr. Kittle's given name, I'm making no progress in my search. Was there a Kittle family in Manlius? Are there Kittles buried there?

Thanks any help, dp
