Jonna, Thought I'd give this a shot-even if it is a long shot!!! I have a Frair, John Miller, who was listed in the Manilus 1840 census and who I believe married a Samantha Hawks (who according to a 1865 New York state census listed Onondaga Co. as her birthplace) probably in Manilus around that time. I have quite a bit of information on his family and would love to see if there's any connection with your Frairs. I know the name was often spelled as it sounded to the census taker so who knows? Look forward to talking to you. Thanks, Karen Peabody-Stout
