Dear Edward,
I was wondering if you have ever come across information on an Edward Robinson from Onondaga Co., New York, poss. the Stafford area.
I have been looking for years for the parents of my gr+ grandfather Edward W. Robinson who married Sarah "Sally" Palmer of Stafford, NY. Edward was born in NY in 1817 or 1818. He died in Grand Rapids, Kent Co., MI in 1894. Sally, b. 1812 - d. 1893 in GR.
Edward had a brother Benjamin T. <1824> who was ennumerated with his family in 1880. His occupation was listed as a tailor.
There is a Stillman Robinson buried in Edward's lot at the cemetery. He probably died around 1887. I'm not yet sure of his exact relationship with the rest of the group.
Edward and "Sally" had children,
George F. <1845>
William <1847>
James <died young>
James Mortimer b.1851
Mary Elizabeth b. 1852
R. Stillman <1860>
All the children were born in NY according to the census.
If you have run into any of the above named in your research I sure would appreciate the information.
