Tomb Family

John James Tomb, his wife Agnes King and 2 young sons are on the 1830 census in Annsville. John was a builder of woolen mills. I have them in Malone in 1825 (son David born there), Moira (son William born there) in 1827~28, and in Bombay 1840-41. They moved to Cornwall Ontario in 1842. Their daughter Elizabeth is my great grandmother. She was born 1833, somewhere in NY. I am trying to find any information on JJ and/or daughter Elizabeth in the Annsville area from 1828 through 1839.

John James is the son of Captain John Tomb and Elizabeth Crossett, b 1797 probably in Washington County. Captain John is buried in the North Manlius cemetery [d1829], Elizabeth C is buried in the Salem cemetery [d1805]. Captain John moved to the Cicero/Manlius area after her death and married Betsey/Bata Van Valkenburgh.

Any leads would be appreciated.
