Hello Nora... your posting on Genealogy.com caught my attention as I have been doing similar research. My son-in-law is a Reynolds from 'Verona, Ontario'. His father still lives there as does his aunt. They have done a lot of work on their REYNOLDS tree but one thing has always eluded them and that was the connection to a Benjamin Reynolds born about 1806-1809 who came to Ontario from the U.S. No one seems to know where in the U.s. Their Benjamin was married to a Rebecca Milligan (that last name I noticed in your posting and perhaps it is a co-incidence but...) She was also known as "Rebecca Sherman". I know that Benjamin and Rebecca had a son Charles Warner Reynolds and although they thought Benjamin's father may also be Benjamin I though why not another Charles? I do not know the full story but must one day sit with our daughter's father-in-law and ask the correct questions. I offered to look see what I could find and found a few public family tree posters on Ancestry and yourself here... please get back to me so we can chat as perhaps we may find a common ancester here. I live in Kingston, Ontario. Thanks. Valerie Davies.
