Yes, I have that obituary! It is a key piece of the "have much info to suggest they are" statement I made in my post. The problem is that the death certificates give completely different parents - fathers and mothers - for both men. That is what I am trying to resolve. I have some reason to suspect that James NOLAN's death certificate has wrong parents in that the informant was his 22 yr. old grandson and the grandson's parents were already dead and James died in different state (MA)from where other adult NOLAN relatives lived. Currently I am looking for possible siblings of Peter & James NOLAN - one of which might be Eliza HAMILL (1838-41 to ?), wife of Hugh HAMILL/HAMMEL (1826-1896)of Sangerfield NY. Eliza & Hugh had at least 4 children, one of which is Francis (Frank?) HAMILL. James NOLAN's obit states Frank HAMILL of Waterville is his nephew so I hope to find out if ELiza was a NOLAN. Only avenue I can think of to shed more light on the parents of these men. Any other ideas welcome!
