Utica NY Herald Dispatch Apr.27,1910 page 11: Chester Seifert died yesterday afternoon from cerebral meningitis at the Rome Hospital in his 14th year. He was brought to the hospital 3 weeks ago from Glenmore where he lived in the family of Fred Theobald. Two operations had been performed on him but the relief hoped for was not realized. His mother died at the hospital about a year ago. Surviving are his father, William Seifert, and two brothers and two sisters, William, Harold, Irene and Ione Seifert all of Rome. Until the death of the mother the boy attended the East Rome School. The body was removed to the rooms of the father in the American block.
