Lydia Hewitt and Butler J. Waldron

These two persons are believed to be the parents of Jane E. Waldron, who died 20 Feb 1892. Jane Waldron married Beriah Collins. Beriah was from Brookfield in Madison County. Jane is believed to have been from the Town of Paris. Lydia Hewitt is clearly related to the Elkanah Hewitt from New London, Connecticut. There were actually at least four Elkanah Hewitts. One of the chilren of Lydia and Butler Waldron was named Elkanah, suggesting the connection. A large group of Hewitts found their way to Central New York from their ancestral home. I would like to learn which of these families begat Lydia J. Hewitt. Lydia was born in the early to mid-1800s. Butler was born about 1844, and his parents were William H. and Permilla Waldron. I may have the name 'Butler' and 'Baxter' confused, but that is beside the point. Can anyone help with my Hewitts?
