I am a descendant of James Hill and Margaret Hunter Gypson through their daughter Lillian Arbell Gypson. I have researched the Gypsons back into Yorkshire for some years, through Thomas, William and Robert. Thomas and family emigrated in 1819 to Pennsylvania, and were there for a few years, coming then to Oneida County, where Thomas' cousin Benjamin Gypson was already living in Westmoreland (then known as Hampton). The Gypsons in Yorkshire lived near Thorpe Bassett at the farm, "Rowgate".

I have also researched the Hunters, also from Yorkshire.

My mother and uncle went to see old relatives back in the mid 1900's and turned up as much family info as they could.

I would hope you will contact me.
