There is a small cemetery in Madison County, near Bouckville, called the Pine Woods Cemetery. There is a small hamlet nearby that is called Pine Woods, probably was a much larger community many years ago. This is only a few miles from the Oneida Co. (southern border) line.

I have been doing some research here on early families, and know that there are several Howard family members buried here. In fact, there is a Smith A. Howard (1846-1913)buried here with his wife, Caroline H. Neville (1856-1948).

Do you have any other Howard names? There is a James Howard (1799-1872) with his wife, Sylvia (1798-1862) who was the daughter of Col. Joshua Leland, an early pioneer of the Town of Eaton, Madison County.
