I think that Taylor E. Preston's grandfather was Stillman C. Preston, who d. in Parish, Oswego, NY aft. 1850 and I think had two wives, the latter, I think was Sarah Richardson. Unknown first wife was probably the mother of your Stillman, father of Taylor. Stillman C. could be for Carr. He had a Carr Rev. War vet living with him in 1840 pensioners census or roster. Stillman might have had a brother, Roswell, who probably d. in Atlas Twp., Genesee Co., MI. My interest is joint because James Richardson's granddau. resided with Roswell, after James removed from NY to MI. I think these people are all inter-related.
