Hello. May I suggest that if you want to visit the Utica Public Library's genealogy room that you call ahead. It is not staffed (voluntary staff) all of the time, only certain afternoons (I can't remember which ones now). There are alot of genealogy books, registers and such, but none can be loaned. So, call ahead if you want to go into the room and search on your own. If not, and the room isn't open they will bring you a book or two but you have to know what you want.
