Paris Hill, in Oneida County, NY?

Searching for Paris Hill, NY. Named for Isaac Paris the first settler. Is Paris, NY an abreviation for Paris Hill. Were the Herkimer and Oneida county lines changed at one time. Is there a "Saint Pauls" Methodist Episcopal church in Paris which dates back to about 1797?
I am searching for data concerning Peter Selleck and Isaac Smith who were early members of that church. Their decendents
later moved on to Michigan and Indiana.
I'll appreciate any help which anyone can give me.
