Hi Richard,
Elizabeth EVANS [1798-1879], was only dau of Thomas EVANS and Marget JONES of Wales. She married Rowland JONES [1793-1878], and they are buried with their oldest son, Joseph B. JONES [1823-1905], my 2 great grand uncle, in Trenton, Onedia Co., NY [aka Barneveld], and I have photos of their tombstones.

Their daughter, Elizabeth JONES [1833-1918], m. abt. 1852 Trenton, Oneida Co., NY, Morris OWENS MORRIS, and they moved to Poultney, Rutland Co., VT. However in USA Morris OWENS MORRIS went by Morris OWEN.

Also, Hugh HUGHES [ca1793-ca1835] m. Margaret JONES so first name Hugh is also in my family.
Do our EVANS and OWENS' families connect?
Thank you, Jan in Vermont <>
