Hi Betty,

It's been a few years but better late than never, right?

I have it that Pliny PUTNAM and Flora EDGERTON were married about 1823 or so in Florence, Oneida County, New York. Eben Putnam, who wrote the Putnam Family Genealogy back in 1891, has the marriage in 1825.

I also have it that Flora EDGERTON was the daughter of Isaac EDGERTON and Sarah ______. Flora EDGERTON was born on 15 Jul 1806 somewhere in NY. She died on 6 Apr 1876.

Pliny PUTNAM and Flora EDGERTON had the following known children:

i. Orilla PUTNAM was born on 14 Oct 1824.
ii. Semphronius Daniel PUTNAM was born on 20 Sep 1827.
iii. Alvers Zebina PUTNAM was born on 1 Oct 1829.
iv. Florilla PUTNAM was born on 13 Sep 1831.
v. Alonzo Davis PUTNAM (born on 7 Sep 1834).
vi. Isaac Edgerton PUTNAM was born on 7 Sep 1837.
vii. Charles J. PUTNAM was born on 17 Oct 1842.
viii. Worthy Adelbert PUTNAM was born on 26 May 1845.

I have a little but more information about this family if you are interested. If so please let me know. My e-mail address is MPuatnam823@aol.com. Good luck!

Matt Putnam
Whitman, Mass.
