Abner Pitcher, Rome, NY ca. 1790-1815

Abner PITCHER was one of the first settlers of Rome, having leased a farm there 4 Jun 1791. His wife was Abigail Walworth.

He was a veteran of the Revolution, having served in General Washington's personal Guard.

He had two sons and several daughters, and removed to Jefferson Co. about 1818.

Does anyone have any other Pitcher connections there?
Are there any Pitcher records from that time period?
