I am researching a PETER KELLEY(Kelly) who is shown on the 1860 Federal census as living in Clinton/Kirkland,age 32,a laborer b. in Ireland. His wife Elizabeth(Farley),age 30 and children Margaret,6;William F.,4;Mary J.,3;and Frederick,b.1860 are with him probably living on Martin Road in Kirkland. He is NOT found on the 1870 census but his wife,Elizabeth, age 40, and recent children:Julia,John B.,Libby(Elizabeth) and Mathew ARE shown.Elizabeth is shown to be a widow in 1870. Peter probably died ca 1869.Where is he buried?Did he serve in the Civil War?
