I now believe that Robert Howell and Jennie Williams Jones, my paternal great grandparents, were members of Capel Pen y Graig in the Remsen/Steuben area, in the early 1920s. I have a copy of "Memory Stones," by Jay G. Williams III, in which Jennie is mentioned on page 62. I am unable to physically check the local records in order to verify this, since I live in California, and have been unable to contact the Remsen Town Historian (no e-mail address). Can anyone tell me how to get in touch with the Town Clerk or Historian?
