Hi Bud,

Does your book on the history of Paris NY have any mention of a John Bullen and his wife Mary?

Here's what I have on John. Revolutionary War veteran. Migrated to New York during/after Shay's Rebellion. Died Clinton NY 17 June 1824, buried in old Paris Hill Cemetery. His name was on a DAR monument at the cemetery entrance when we visited about 30 years ago. Could not find actual grave stone. AKA "Captain" John Bullen. Not a rank held in Revolution...but might have resulted from Shay's Rebellion.

Anything you might be able to add would be appreciated.
