German Families from Alsace-Lorrain, France late 1830s

Seeking information on four families believed to have immigrated from Alsace-Lorrain France to Oneida County, New York in the late 1830s. They are the families of Godfrey Fitcher or Gottfried Pfister, Joseph Segfreete/ Seigfreit or Joseph Siegfried, and the family of Lawrence (Lorentz) Miller. The forth family is that of Georg Muehlburg or Muehlenburg who anglicized his name to George Millbury or Millberry. They all settled in the Vernon and Verona area of Oneida County.

It is believed that Catharine Seigfreit, wife of Joseph, was the daughter of Laurence and Ann Miller and sister of Ann Miller the wife of George Millbury.
