Cynthia, I have two copies of a monthy magazine called Town Topics of the Mohawk Valley. One is from October 1928 and the other is from January 1929. They cover a range of topics from that time period. They each contain a shoppers guide, a section called The Chatterbox, another section named Club News plus articles about fashions, both men and women. I should be able to scan a section at a time and e-mail them to you, if you like. Or make copies of them and send them to you by snail mail.
