Seeking info [more names of children; wife's exact 1st and last name, etc.] for John HUGHES born 1834 Llanelly, Carmathenshire, Wales, colonist, who married Susan or Susannah BOWEN or MULVENNA, 21 Oct. 1859 in Llanelly, Wales, died 6 Sept. 1919 in Barneveld, Trenton, Oneida, NY and is buried in Mapledale Cemetery, in Trenton, NY.
Susannah or Susan was born in 1837-1838 in Wales and died 2 May 1917 in Trenton, Ondieda, NY and is buried with her husband.
In 1880 Trenton, Oneida, NY, census, film #470143 CLDS, p. 244A John [married at age 43, parents born in Wales] and Susan, [wife, 40, parents born in Wales] HUGHES' children: Edwin (my ancestor) b. 29 Dec. 1861, married Mary Evans GOUGE, and died Fall 1932; Frank b. abt. 1866, George b. abt. 1871, Charles b. abt. 1873 and Jennie
b. abt. 1875. Also, they took in 2 female boarders: Hellen A. DOWNER b. 1838, widow, miliner and Augusta J. Brown, single, dressmaker & millinery.
In 1910 Trenton, Oneida, NY census series T624 Roll: 1052, John was 75 years, occ. painter carriage immigrated 1819, Susan age 73, immigrated 1829 or 1836, married 52 years.
