Born on those dates you mentioned, it's a good bet they died after 1880. Death certificates name the parents and place of birth for them.
If you go to the New York State Department of Health website and click on 'genealogy', there is a printable form which you can send, along with (I think)$11, and they will send you a copy of the death certificate. Brth certificates are also available from 1880 forward.
Doing your own legwork is much more rewarding in the long run!
