1800s Kirkland School House

Does anyone have any information on an old school house that was located along HWY-5 about 1/8 mile east of Clinton Rd. near the Manchester Cemetery. The building existed in the mid 1880's and is shown on a map of the area in 1874.

Also looking for any information on the Green or Douglass families. John Green and Martha (Douglass) Green lived next to the school and their children would have attended school there.
