Hi only suggestion is the NY State form...NY began records in 1881 and I've had much luck in my research for various lines going this route. It costs $11.00 for each search, but is well worth it as the birth/death/marriage certificates provide some good information. NY is notoriously slow, but they do come may take up to six months. No need to enclose a SASE, just print and fill out the form they provide on the web and send. Good I've's an invaluable resource and takes some waiting time!
