Hi my name is Kathleen Emily (STANNARD)Erdahl. I'm trying to find info on my 3rd great grandparents. John Leonard Stannard b. 4/22/ 1815. He married Betsy Hill CLARK, b. 9/6/1818. They had 4 children, Clarinda b. 1842 married Willard Witherstine. He was born in 1843. John R. Stannard, b. about 1840. Charles Stannard, b. 1842, married a Hanna Beldon. And Orlo Stannard,b. 6/23/1836. He married Elizabeth Bard, b. 5/31/1834. Orlo and Elizabeth married 1/16/1858, in Western, Oneida Co., NY. Elizabeth's parents are Isaac Bard & Rose(Jane) Simpson. I'm assuming that both of these people were born around the same time as the Stannard/Clark couple. Elizabeth had at least one brother named Ike(Isaac)N. Bard. He was born 3/1/1842. Would love to find anyone who has info on these people. I also just found info on Clarinda & Willard Witherstine. They are both buried in North Steuben Cemetery, in Steuben, Oneida co., NY as are at least 3 of their children, Minnie, Winnie and Matilda Witherstine. Both of John and Betsy Stannard are there also along with a Grandson, Jay C. Stannard and his wife Melvia G. Naskearn (spelling not sure of) and one of their children. Hope someone can help me. I would love to get info on the parents of John and Betsy Stannard and Isaac and Rose Bard. Hope to hear soon. Thanks in advance for any and all help.
