Not money, just emails.
Carolyn Laban is chair for the Robert Hubbard Homestead preservation project in Middletown, Middlesex, CT
As many of us have ancestors whose migration patterns went from CT into Oneida County, NY (and many other counties in the State as well), this project may be dear to your heart, as it is to mine.
Please take a few moments to read the material on the following little website, which pertains to the project Carolyn has undertaken. She has been told by the Town authorities that the more emails of moral support she brings with her to a meeting on June 26th (2002), the better.
For one thing, if Middletown preserves this Homestead from developers, more and more people willl want to visit that town to see and tour through a 250+ yr old homestead. This would be good for the local merchants.
