Dooley's in Utica - Erie Canal - 1820's-1840's

Looking for any information on Mark Dooley and Honora Ryan Seymour, both born in Ireland about 1795-6. Both came to America at unknown time before 1828 and married in Utica, NY. Mark probably worked on the Erie Canal. They had 3 children: Ann (b. 01/12/1829 in Utica), Jeremiah (b. 04/25/1834 in Albany) and John Joseph (b. 03/14/1838 in Utica). Mark died in Utica around 1840 or so, no idea where he was buried though the family is Roman Catholic. Honora died in Oregon in 1872. They are my gr-gr-gr-grandparents and I'd like to know more about them. Are there ANY records ANYWHERE of Erie Canal Irish workers??? Thank you!
