Oliver and John Sauve or Sovie, of Utica
Posted by: Sam (ID *****0395) Date: April 09, 2002 at 11:31:23

I am searching for the dates of death of Oliver Sauve or Sovie, born 1889; he worked for the railroad as well as a salesman. In his brother Edmond's 1951 obituary, Oliver was said to be of Syracuse, but further information suggests he died in Utica, in the period 1953-58.

Oliver's father, John, was born in 1868 and died after 1951. I don't have very much information on them at all; things are complicated because the French name Sauve may have been spelled Sovie, Sovey or Sauvey.

Any information at all and I would be eternally grateful!

Sam
