Hi Pat...thank you. You mentioned in your first reply that you had an Enos P. Clark in Oriskany. Oriskany is a village in Whitestown Township, ONEIDA County. I believe my Mary A. is from there, although she married 'at the home of E.P. Clark' in Ilion Township, Herkimer County. My thinking is that the Enos P. Clark, age 40, in your information is probably her brother; he would have been 29 years old when she married in 1869. I'll try to find their parents in Whitestown..think I'm closing in!
