Hi Chuck,
My cousins and I thank you for these lookups.

from LANDMARKS OF NIAGARA CO., NY 1897:

Samuel Learned, fence viewer, elected 18th of May 1823,

Samuel Leonard in Oct. 1823 as being a Lockport, NY, church trustee of the Buffalo and Lewiston circuit, with a small church building being erected in 1824, and reorganization on 30 April, 1827.

R.D. Cook was elected as a vestryman at a meeting on 6th of January, 1858.
[Possibly this was was Ransom D. Cook, my ancestor.]

Thanks again,
Janice <jnrose@webtv.net>
