I am looking for any information about Malcolm and Mamie Hamilton. Mamie was Mary Chadwick of North Carolina. She was probably named Laura Mary Chadwick. She married JJ Bonham in NC then left and went to NY with Malcolm Hamilton. SS death index shows Malcom Hamilton born 1896 died in 1967. Mary was born in 1886. She outlived Malcolm and had a NY issue Social Services ID with Malcolm's Social Security Number on it.
I am looking for anyone who is willing to look up this couple. I do not think they had any children but I am unsure. Mary/Mamie had six children from her NC marriage. She only took one child, daughter Janie, with her to New York. Janie married a Markland. I would like to locate any obituary information on both Mamie/Mary Hamilton and Malcolm Hamilton of Freeport, Nassau Co, NY. Malcolm died in Freeport. I do not know where Mamie died but she was on welfare in Nassau county. II would like to know where they may be buried and would also like to have an address on the couple. There may be information in an old phone directory listing him up to 1967 and listing her probably up thorugh 1979 or 1980. I am hoping there may at least be some obit inforamtion on Mary since she died much later than her husband. Mary was still alive when my grandmother died in August of 1979. Malcolm's social security number was 117-05-1543. At the SS death index the zip code recorded for him was 11520.
Mamie/Mary Chadwick Hamilton was my grandmother's sister. She disappeared from NC around 1920 leaving behind five other children and her husband JJ Bonham. I do not even know if Mary ever divorced JJ Bonham.
