I am looking in a Coutant family genealogy book at a very poor copy of the bronze plaque which is on the back of the Huguenot memorial in Huguenot Park on Bonnefoy point, Davenport neck, New Rochelle. The names appear to be in alphabetical order and only the last names are given. Jean's last name of ALLE appears to be second on the list. This is the only view I have of the memorial, the book has no picture of the front or anything else about the monument. Write the historical society at New Rochelle , send SASE and -ask for a post card of the monument if there is one. Good luck....
