ISAAC MEAD, b. abt 1790 CT

Looking for information about my 3g grandfather, Isaac Mead, who married Margaret ? abt 1828 in New York. They moved to Stamford, Fairfield Co, CT and they were found in the 1850 Census with their chldren: Almond (1829); Peter (1830); Joseph (1832); Laurena (1835); Charles (1839); and Lafayette (1846). Lafayette died from injuries received at the Battle of Petersburgh in the Civil War. He is buried in Arlington Nat'l. Cemetery. My 2 great-grandfather was Almond, who also died in the Civil War, in Tennessee is buried in Memphis. I have gone through a lot of the "The Mead Family" of Stamford, CT and New York, but wasn't able to determine if he was listed there, or not. I don't know where in NY they lived but records show they were married in NY? Any help would be appreciated.
