Thanks for all the information.,but I don't think this is the right one because it appears that Sadie is 32 years old in 1930 than she was born in 1898, the Sadie I am searching was born before 1895, (Sadie was my father sister, and I have all birth record for his brothers and sisters from Slovakia from 1895 as other records prior to 1895 were destroyed as far as I found from the archive in Slovakia) .I don't thing the Sadie I am looking for went to California as I was told by her niece that knew her as a child that she lived in New York and run a candy store with her husband, possible address Amsterdam avenue. I was also told that the girl was older then the boy, but it could be the other way round as her niece is now 90 years old and does not remember. I found on 1920 census Sadie and David Friedman ,born Hungary with 2 children Helen 1955 and Sidney 1918, but not on 1930 or 1940.

Thank you for all your help ,I appreciate any help from any one who can advance my search one step further.
you can send me any information to martin-weiss@hotmail.co.uk
Thank you

Martin Weiss (from Slovakia)
