Thank-you for your help. Our Francis Skinner Walker aka Frank left New York and went to Michigan so if you notice anything that would support that fact, we would be interested. In some things Frank says he lived in Rochester, New York.
He served in the Civil War as a bugle boy. He ended up in St. Ignace, Michigan as an undertaker and owning a furniture store and an opera house.
